“Demolition Man” Screen-Worn Jacket Costume Cryo-Prison Guard – Coat Men’s Belfe & Belfe 50 (Backlot Props)
Demolition Man is a 1993 American science fiction film directed by Marco Brambilla in his directorial debut. The film stars Sylvester Stallone and Wesley Snipes. The film tells the story of two men: an evil crime lord and a risk-taking police officer. Cryogenically frozen in 1996, they are restored to life in the year 2032 to find mainstream society changed and all crime seemingly eliminated.
Presented is a Belfe & Belfe light blue jacket worn in the 1993 movie “Demolition Man”. These outfits were worn by the Cryo-Prison Guards. Tagging is in the interior and it is a [size] 50. Shows distress from the costume department. The outer patches and covers were removed. Also, features Warner Brothers studio tagging.
These items originated from the company Backlot Props and Costumes. Backlot Props and Costumes were based in Burbank, California. They warehoused costumes and props from the major movie studios. The company liquidated their assets in 2010 and these were part of the acquisition of tens of thousands of original costumes and props. These are now available for the first time publicly.
