Description
On May 30, 1977, Dennis Eckersley no-hit the California Angels 1–0 at Cleveland Stadium. He struck out 12 batters and only allowed two to reach base, Tony Solaita on a walk in the first inning and Bobby Bonds on a third strike that was a wild pitch. He earned his first All-Star Game selection that year and finished the season with a 14–13 win–loss record.
Presented is an OML (Selig) baseball autographed by Dennis Eckersley. He signed it on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”) with the inscription, “HOF 2004”. The ball shows an imperfection on the stamping.
