Derek Jeter Game-Used Bat (PSA GU 8)

A recent segment on “The Best Damn Sports Show Period”, interviewed Derek Jeter for the 2007 season. Along with promoting video game Major League Baseball 2007, he revealed that one of his junior high yearbooks predicted he would be playing shortstop for the New York Yankees. Offered is one of Derek Jeter’s game used bats from his tenure with the Yankees (labeling period 2001-06). It is a classic Louisville Slugger (P72) with a black finish. The ‘Slugger’ is uncracked, measures 34″ and weighs 32.2 oz. It shows moderate-heavy use with hit, ball transfer (blue/white) and cleat marks on the barrel. There is also a moderate coating of pine tar on the handle and a unique gold ball mark on the barrel. John Taube of PSA/DNA Bats gave this a trong>GU 8.
