Derek Jeter Game-Worn, Signed Shoe

Michael Jordan and Derek Jeter are synonymous with winning. Jeter shows his affection for His Airness by wearing Air Jordan baseball cleats when he takes the field. For the majority of Jeter’s career, he has worn some form of Jordan baseball shoe. This left shoe was worn by Jeter, we presume early in his career, given the Nike inventory code which reads “JBM096.” The shoes were manufactured in ’96 and are also stamped “Wear Test Sample” on the inner tongue. Great wear is apparent with soil marks caked on the bottoms and minor surface wear. Jordan’s jumpman logo appears on the heel as does a “23” identifier. “2” is embroidered on the bottom heel. Jeter signed (“9-10”) the side in brilliant silver paint pen. A Steiner letter (which authenticates the autograph) will be forwarded to the top bidder.
