Known professionally as Dick Dale, was an American rock guitarist. He was the pioneer of surf music, drawing on Middle Eastern music scales and experimenting with reverb. Dale was known as “The King of the Surf Guitar”, which was also the title of his second studio album.

Presented is a guitar signed by Dick Dale. The body of the red guitar was signed in black felt tip (“9”) with the inscription, “To Doug – Keep Playing 2-23-13 – My Favorite Song Miserlou – Surfs up – D.D.”.

Note, the guitar itself shows some handling wear.
