Description
Jay Hanna Dean, better known as “Dizzy”, the brash and colorful leader of the celebrated World Champion “Gas House Gang”, burst into the Big Leagues in 1932 and averaged 24 wins over his first five seasons (30-7 in 1934), and won four NL strikeout crowns. Simply put, Dizzy was one of the greatest pitchers and players who ever lived, and a first-ballot Hall of Famer. He’s inked his famous signature (“3-5”) on the side panel of this Wilson Western League ball black fountain pen. The baseball itself shows mild aging/storage wear & signatures have been removed.
