Description
Don Larsen spent his best years with the New York Yankees. He pitched the sixth perfect game in MLB history, doing so in Game 5 of the 1956 World Series. It’s the only no-hitter and perfect game in World Series history and is one of only two no-hitters in MLB postseason history (the other being Roy Halladay’s in 2010. He won the World Series MVP Award and Babe Ruth Award in recognition of his 1956 postseason.
His legacy will be surly be remembered through pastime stories and mementos he inked for fans. Presented is a OML (Selig) baseball autographed by Larsen on the sweet spot in black ballpoint pen (“9”). He added the date of his famous perfect game for added value, “’10.8.56”
