Description
Earl Averill played in Major League Baseball (MLB) as a center fielder from 1929 to 1941, including 11 seasons for the Cleveland Indians. He was a six-time All-Star (1933–1938) and was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1975.
Presented is an OAL (MacPhail) baseball autographed by Earl Averill. He signed it on the sweet spot in black felt tip (“8-9”). The ball itself shows toning throughout from age.
