Early 1970s Cesar Cedeno Game-Worn Astros Jacket

Description
Three decades after the fact, the shooting-star uniform style of the Houston Astros remains among the most recognized in the game. This Astros warm-up jacket was worn by Cesar Cedeno in the early 1970s, when he emerged as one of the best all-around outfielders in baseball. His uniform number “28” is noted in black marker on the neck swatch, which also confirms the size measurement. The highly distinctive, five-pointed shooting star and streamer are sewn in blue, white and orange across the chest. A faded “ASTROS” is sewn on in like colors beneath them. The Wilson model shows obvious signs of wear, most notably rub marks on the sleeves and pockets.
