Early 1990s Flipper Anderson Game-Worn L. A. Rams Jersey
Out of stock
Willie “Flipper” Anderson may hold the single-game receiving yardage record for a long time to come. In 1989, he played one game in which he caught 15 passes for an amazing 336 yards. This shattered the previous record Stephone Paige set four years earlier. Nobody has approached Flipper’s single-game high mark in nearly twenty years. Anderson donned this size “44” jersey when he played for the Rams in the early ’90s. In 1991, NFL gamer jerseys included the front shield, and this one does have the patch in the correct position. It showcases decent wide receiver use with hit/impact marks on the single-color navy blue identifiers (heat applied). Various scratches are especially evident on the back numeral “8.” Of special note are the hand pockets, suggesting this would have been used in a road game in the late season. A Russell Athletic size label (“8” written in black marker) and fabric content flag tag are sewn in the tail.
