Early ’80s Joe Morgan Game-Used, Signed Glove

Today’s generation knows Joe Morgan as an ESPN color commentator. But bona fide baseball fans remember “Little Joe” Morgan as a power-hitting second baseman who gained Hall of Fame entry in 1990. The offered MacGregor 11″ glove (model JMS) was used by Morgan when he played for the Reds in the early ’80s. Tremendous wear, mainly in the pocket, is exhibited, so we can assume Morgan used it for an extended period of time. MacGregor’s traditional orange crown patch is sewn on the wriststrap. Crafted from premium “prohide” leather, the glove features a conventional back and an X-laced web. Morgan signed the leather marvel (thumb in ballpoint and pinkie in blue felt tip) for added aesthetic appeal.
