Early-Mid ’80s BC Lions Authentic Helmet

Game-worn relics from north of the border rarely make their way down to the United States. This CFL British Columbia Lions helmet is one of those rare exceptions. Offered is a heavily-used Lions helmet. According to our consignor, it was used in the early to mid ’80s. The white shell has numerous scratches and signs of use. Team emblems highlight the sides while brown/orange/brown stripes race down the center. There are no numbers written or dymo/decals to identify it to a specific player. The shell is size "7 3/8."

The interior of the 1980 shell sports a PAC-3 padding system with large jaw pads. A 7 3/8 size sticker and PAC-3 warning sticker decorate the interior shell. The orange mask dates to 1985, held in-place by clear period clips.
