Description

Good luck ever finding a check the magnitude that this one has. Two Yankee Greats, two tough autographs no less, signed this check dated April 28, 1927. Jack Ruppert, the owner of the Yanks, put the brightest signature (“9”) on the bottom line. The payroll check is made out to John Farrell, Secretary for $10,000 and is in EX/MT+ condition (bank markings). Finally, treasurer Ed Barrow, put a gorgeous (“8″) fountain pen signature on the front of the check. The check is showcased in a display with two black and white photo cards and it measures 13.5″ x 16”.
