Elvis Presley Personal Items From Hilton Hotel Lot

The Las Vegas Hilton Hotel now the Westgate has seen its fair share of important clients. The most important by far was Elvis Presley. He stayed in his personal suite #3000 during his famous show residency. Fortunate were those who worked with and around him. These personal items from Elvis were in his suite and were taken out during a cleaning process. The employee James West (Housekeeping Crew #34) removed the items and kept them in his personal collection and they are offered now at auction. They include from the Hilton stationary list he compiled and signed are: a half smoked cigar, three Pepsi cups, three Hilton soaps (marked), yellow guitar pick, small Hilton glass, Hilton chip and a 1974 gold bottle carrier. Also included are items from the Elvis Pawn Shop – an International Hotel menu (Souvenir) and a photo negative that was used for the photo on the menu in 1970.
