Description
Evan Longoria was selected by the Tampa Bay Rays as the third overall pick in the 2006 Major League Baseball draft. Longoria was called the “best pure hitter” among college players in the 2006 draft class by Baseball America. He was the highest draft selection in school history. Tampa Bay gave him a $3 million signing bonus. He is currently with the San Francisco Giants.
Presented is an Evan Longoria game used bat from his time with the Tampa Bay Rays. The bat is a Louisville Slugger Model I13 and shows heavy used. Strong pine tar on the upper handle as well as the other portion of the handle. Shows great use throughout and features his number “3” marked on the barrel end for easy identification. It was also autographed on the barrel by Longoria in blue felt tip pen (“9”).
