Franco Harris Signed Authentic Steelers Helmet

All was lost when the Steelers and Raiders played Dec. 23, 1972. Late in the fourth quarter, on fourth down, Franco Harris grabbed an errant pass and galloped in for a playoff-winning touchdown. The most improbable victory became known as the Immaculate Reception.  

This helmet resembles what Harris wore the day he grabbed the ball out of the air. There are surface scratches and a "1983 recondition sticker" on the inner ear hole of the Steelers headgear. This is not marketed as a Steelers game-used helmet though. The shell may have been used. Someone then stickered up the helmet to resemble one like Harris would have worn. Harris signed the shell in gold paint pen and inscribed "Immaculate Reception 12-23-72" in gold paint pen. A Steiner certificate authenticates the signature.
