Out of stock
Presented is a letter that was typed up from famed architect, Frank Lloyd Wright on September 17, 1951. It was a response to a woman’s (Liliane Kaufmann) situation in which she was separating from her husband and was still building a house in the desert. The letter recommended a consultation in which he would bring his drawings. He ended the salutation with reassurance in that she will get to enjoy a splendid home of her own now. It was signed at the bottom in black ballpoint (“9”) by Wright at the end of the letter.
The letter originated from Taliesin West and also included is a brochure. Taliesin West was architect Frank Lloyd Wright’s winter home and school in the desert from 1937 until his death in 1959 at the age of 91. Today it is the main campus of the School of Architecture at Taliesin and houses the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation.
