Gale Sayers Signed Jersey Champion Throwback Bears “HOF 1977” – COA JSA

Through the second half of the 20th Century, the Kansas Comet, Gale Sayers was as the most electrifying runner to grace the gridiron, and the Monsters of the Midway had the luxury of his services. The injuries not withstanding, his athletic gifts transcended the pastime, and fans came to the stadium just to see him, as others did for Teddy Ballgame, M.J., Mantle, Orr, Gretzky and not many others.

Presented is a Chicago Bears Champion throwback jersey (Vintage Collection) that was autographed by Gale Sayers. He signed the front number in blue felt tip (“8-9”), with the inscription, “HOF 1977”. The jersey itself features a special Bears 45th Year Anniversary – 1965 patch on the front. It’s a [size] XL and made from a heavy sweatshirt/sweater type material – complete with elbow padding.
