Game-Used Ball from Ripken’s 2,131st Record-Breaking Game, Signed by Umpires & Ripken
Out of stock
Description
The Orioles and Angels game Sept. 6, 1995 was not just one of 162. Cal Ripken broke what many believed was an impassable mark as he supplanted Lou Gehrig as baseball’s iron man. This OAL (Budig) ball was used in the game which Ripken broke the record. Great use is exhibited on the horsehide exterior with rub and soil marks on the ball. A special Ripken stamping resides below the AL president’s name. Ripken and all four umpires signed the ball in black ballpoint. Larry Barnett, Greg Kosc, Dan Morrison and Al Clark each signed a separate side panel on this historic sphere.
