What better accessory to go with the George Brett jersey in this auction than this game-issued bat? The labeling period on this beauty is 1980-83, when Brett was at the height of his popularity. This model T85 Louisville Slugger stick (34” and 32 ounces) shows light overall use. Black bat rack marks are visible on the back barrel. “5” is written on the knob in vintage marker. Brett signed (“6”) the barrel with the inscription “Brad my best.”
