Gregg Jefferies Signed, Game-worn 1988 Mets Jacket (Rookie Season)

Gregg Jefferies withstood the New York spotlight and forged a solid 14-year career. It all started when Jefferies was a can’t-miss prospect. This jacket was worn during his highly-touted 1998 rookie season. The left sleeve is highlighted by a Mets team patch ,while the interlocking “NY” on the left breast is consists of heavy wool set against blue felt. Jefferies signed the keepsake in silver paint pen on the front. His uniform number “9” is written in black marker in the collar, which contains a Starter size-“L” tag.
