Description
The nickname “Hammerin’ Hank” was given to Detroit baseball star Hank Greenberg a couple decades before Henry Aaron became the latter-day “Hammerin’ Hank.” Greenberg was a power hitting first baseman who played nearly his entire career in the American League for the Tigers from 1930 through 1947. This is a cachet autographed on the front by Greenberg in red felt tip pen (“9″). It measures 3.5″ x 6”.
The interior of the envelope features a yellow hall of fame plaque postcard of Greenberg.
Authentication: JSA Basic Cert & Sticker
