Description
Henry Armstrong was a boxer who not only was a member of the exclusive group of fighters that have won boxing championships in three or more different divisions (at a time when there were only 8 universally recognized World Titles), but also has the distinction of holding three world championships at the same time, consisting of the featherweight, lightweight, and welterweight world titles for a brief period in 1938. Armstrong defended his welterweight title nineteen times.
Presented is a vintage Henry Armstrong autographed magazine page. The black and white page dates to September of 1981 as noted on the bottom border from when the magazine was published. It was signed twice in dark blue ballpoint pen for a fan. The inscriptions were also penned by Armstrong and feature his writing on both the top and bottom of the page. The page measures 8″ x 10.75″ and features creasing vertical/horizontal.
