The 1952 Pittsburgh Pirates season was the team’s 71st season in Major League Baseball, and their 66th season in the National League. The Pirates posted a record of 42 wins and 112 losses.

19) 1950 Pittsburgh Pirates signed this ONL Warren C Giles red stitch baseball. Very rare HOF Honus Wagner, on the sweet spot, also signed by the  Wagner Family, Bess Wagner, Betty Blair,  Leslie Blair, Henry Blair, and Virginia Wagner. Ralph Kiner HOF and B. Meyer, Gus Bell, P Castiglione, G. Metkovich, M. Dickson, T. Wilks, P. LaPalme, J. Merson,G. Strickland. F. Main  Signatures signed in Black / Blue steel-tip fountain pen. Signatures grade 7-8. The legendary “Flying Dutchman” probably spent more time in a Pittsburgh Pirates uniform than anyone else before or since. After a long and successful eighteen-year playing career in Pittsburgh (1900-1917), Wagner rejoined the club as a coach in 1930. Extremely popular with both the players and fans, Wagner was a fixture on the Pirates bench for twenty-two years before retiring in 1951 at the age of seventy-seven.
