Howard Johnson Game-Used, Signed Bat

This uncracked 35″ Rawlings Adirondack was used by Howard Johnson during his career with the New York Mets. “HoJo” had a powerful swing, and was actually accused by opposing managers of using corked bats. Johnson signed his name and number “20” on the barrel in blue felt tip (“8”). The gamer has bat rack and scuff marks, as well as a heavy layer of pine tar on the upper handle. The number “20” is written in black marker on both the end of the barrel and on the knob.
