Jack Haley Signed Photo – COA JSA

Unfortunate it is that Jack Haley is remembered almost exclusively for his role as the Tin Man in 1939’s The Wizard of Oz. He was, instead, a gifted performer with dozens of films to his credit, and extensive Broadway casting as well. (By the standards of the entertainment industry, perhaps his greatest credential was a marriage that endured for 58 years.) In acknowledging one autograph request, Haley penned this 5×7 photograph of himself with a pipe. The autograph is inscribed with the salutation, “Sincerely” and projects at a strength of “9”. The bottom border of the photo was dated 5/18/46. The back of the photo has some glue residue from previous display in a photo album.
