Jay Bell Game-Used, Signed Bat

Jay Bell is your quintessential major league second baseman. He is tenacious, stellar in the field and has forged a long career. The man who made most of his noise with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Arizona Diamondbacks, used this Louisville Slugger model S318 bat between 1991-96 with the Bucs. Great use is shown with multiple blue scuff marks, heavy pine tar on the handle and a sparse spattering of cleat marks. A six-inch crack appears on the handle of this 34″, 32.5 ounce bat. “28 S 318 34-32” is handwritten on the handle in black felt tip while “28” appears on the end of the barrel. Bell sealed the deal with a solid signature (“9”) in black felt tip.
