SKU: 15902 Category:

The Pats may have derailed “The Bus” for the final time in the AFC Championship game, but has there ever been a better, more reliable 250-pound battering ram in the history of football? The Patriots will attest to the respect the entire football world has for Jerome Bettis, and this 2001 home shirt is a testimony to his grind-it-out style. The hybrid jersey sports dacora shoulders, nylon durene sleeves with embedded striping, spandex side sleeves and heavyweight mesh. The numerals are rounded like the ‘50’s style and the NOB features a colossal 9/16-inch width lettering font. It features Reebok tail tagging and an “01-46” inner-neckline swatch. There are repairs to the shoulders and sleeve striping in two-color and numerous dings and remnants of turf paint abound. Sourced from an AFC equipment staffer after 2002, it may have also been used in 2003. NFL fans hope “The Bus” will return for one final season, If not, this may be the last chance for Bettis to put use on a gamer with such substantial wear.
