Jim Bunning Game-Worn, Signed Phillies Jacket

After a Hall of Fame caliber career, most big leaguers retire to Florida or Arizona and get out of the spotlight. Jim Bunning kept himself busy by running for a Senate position. The current Senator of Kentucky wore this letterman’s style jacket while with the Philadelphia Phillies. Creme-colored leather sleeves are surrounded by an all-red body. A Phillies “P” insignia highlights the front. Leather pocket liners and red and white braiding (collar and sleeves) makes this a real keeper. Bunning’s “14” is written on an inner white swatch for identification purposes. Bunning signed (“10”) the front in blue felt tip.
