Jim Perry Game-Used Rookie Era Bat (1959-60)

Although eventually overshadowed by Gaylord, his Hall-of-Fame brother, Jim Perry was a hard-throwing Indians All-Star ace and a career 215-game winner. He used this signature model D2 Louisville Slugger during the 1959-60 seasons, his first in the big leagues. It features light pine tar on the handle and numerous ball marks about the barrel, as well as his number “31” markered in black on the knob. This 35″, 32-oz. gamer is in remarkable condition for its age; the consummate vintage pitcher’s bat.
