Joe Montana Signed Football 49ers Super Bowl XIX – COA TriStar

Joe Montana is a former American football quarterback who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 16 seasons, primarily with the San Francisco 49ers. He also played for the Kansas City Chiefs. After winning a national championship at Notre Dame, Montana started his NFL career in 1979 with San Francisco, where he played for the next 14 seasons. While a member of the 49ers, Montana started and won four Super Bowls and was the first player ever to have been named Super Bowl Most Valuable Player three times.

Presented is an ONFL (Super Bowl XIX – Pete Rozelle) football autographed by Joe Montana. He signed it on one of the panels in silver felt tip pen (“8” bit of a streak). It was part of a limited edition and numbered TSP 11/19. Note, the vintage football does not hold air.

Super Bowl XIX was hyped as the battle between two great quarterbacks: Miami’s Dan Marino and San Francisco’s Joe Montana. The Dolphins entered their fifth Super Bowl in team history after posting a 14–2 regular season record. The 49ers were making their second Super Bowl appearance after becoming the first team to win 15 regular season games since the league expanded to a 16-game schedule in 1978.
