Julio Franco Game-Used Bat

When Julio Franco began his major league journey, most of his modern-day peers were still in their playpens. The timeless marvel (who at age 47 will enter the 2006 campaign as the game’s oldest player) used this model J93 Louisville Slugger bat when he was “a youngster.” Bat records show that Franco favored this model in 1986-89 when he was with Cleveland Indians. Great use is shown with a multitude of ball marks and red, black and blue bat rack transfers. The handle of this slightly cracked lumber features a moderate layer of pine tar. “14” has been written on the knob in black felt tip. Franco continues his march to the 3,000 hit barrier in ’06.
