Despite the decline of his team and his advancing age, Karl Malone averaged 25.5, 23.2, 22.4, and 20.6 points per game in his last four seasons with Utah. In the 2002–2003 season, Malone passed Wilt Chamberlain for second on the all-time scoring list with 36,374 points.
Presented is a pair of Karl Malone game worn shoes from the latter part of his career with the Utah Jazz. They are primarily Jazz colors in white and purple and feature the “MAILMAN” logo stitched on the ankle area of each shoe. There’s also a circular Converse All-Star logo stitched on the side near the toe box and the heel has a vertical Team Converse logo patch. The primary color of the sneakers are white, with the heels, the tops of the ankle and outside edges having purple. The interior has the proper tagging and size for Malone, “CONVERSE – POU CHEN – SAMPLE – M’S 16 – MADE IN CHINA”. Overall, show tremendous wear with leather creasing throughout and worn bottom soles. Also as an outstanding gesture, Malone has signed each of these sneakers in black felt tip (“9”) on the inside of each ankle and inscribed “#32”.
