This item originates from one of Durant’s security team members. He assisted him regularly and traveled around the world with the USA team. He received many gifts over the years directly from Durant including worn items, special one-of-a-kind things and autographs.

These Durant Nike sneakers were worn during the 2016 Team USA preliminary practice rounds of the Olympics. They match his [size] 17 and specifications for Team USA. They also show great wear throughout. The security team member was in charge of carrying the sneakers and insoles after they were dropped off to Durant’s personal stylist by Nike. Each day either for practice or on game days Durant wore a different pair from the group. They were given to his security team member because he appreciated his assistance.
