Description
The TV hit series “M.A.S.H” received an almost unparalleled following from viewers. The garments worn during the series are destined to also receive a fair share of recognition. One of the more popular characters, Cpl. Walter Eugene “Radar” O’Reilly, wore this khaki U.S. Army shirt and hat in the fifth season. Gary Burghoff played O’Reilly on the show. The collar has “Costume Collection” stamped along with “5th Season” written in black marker. This khaki shirt comes from a scene in which O’Reilly had a dream where he was acting as a junior officer. He was given this khaki shirt for that particular scene. Two pins are also part of the offering. A ranking pin (second lieutenant) and medical corps pin are both affixed on the outside collar. A hat completes this outfit. The initials “G.B” are written twice on the sweatband and “5th Season” is also placed into the hat.
