Kiki Cuyler Batrite Game-Used Bat, PSA/DNA GU 7

The Hall of Fame outfielder, Kiki Cuyler, was a gazelle on the base paths, as his 26 triples in 1925 will testify, and this is a record not equaled in the 20th Century. Cuyler used this bat at some point between 1928 and ’33, when he starred for the Chicago Cubs. The hickory Batrite (34 3/4″ and 33.8 ounces) was brandished by the perennial .300 hitter, and it features a small crack (2″) on the handle along with hit marks on the right, left and back of the barrel. Originally, the crack was taped, but that repair has since been removed. Batrite’s logo is burned into the trademark, and “CUYLER” is stamped in the barrell. PSA/DNA bat authenticator John Taube tendered an evaluation of pan style=”FONT-WEIGHT: bold”>GU 7. Cuyler left his mark on the game with his fleet-of-foot style and relentless pursuit to be the best man on the diamond.
