Large 1967 Red Sox “Impossible Dream’ AL Champs Signed Poster w/ Yaz, Doerr, Lyle – JSA Full LOAGo Back
Out of stock
Super-colorful 14″ x 26″ limited edition poster pays homage to the 1967 Boston Red Sox and their celebrated “Impossible Dream” American League championship. The “dream” refers to the Red Sox entering the ’67 season as a doormat team, and shocking the baseball world by reaching the World Series for the first time since 1946, capped by one of the most memorable finishes in baseball history, as the AL pennant race went to the very last game, with Boston edging out the Detroit Tigers and Minnesota Twins by 1 game. It was also the quintessential breakout season for workhorse Carl Yastrzemski who transcended All-Star status to become an American League MVP, culminated by a rare Triple Crown season. Yaz is the centerpiece of this big signed tribute, highlighted by a big signature from the Hall of Famer in bold black sharpie, surrounded by fine autographs from fellow ’67 champs Bobby Doerr, Rico Petrocelli, Darrell Brandon, John Wyatt, Gary Waslewski, George Scott (tough signature), Sparky Lyle, Dave Morehead, Jose Santiago, Jose Tartabull, Russ Gibson, Mike Andrews and Jerry Adair. Very impressive and a terrific display piece awaiting prominent display. Solid NM/MT+. On foam core awaiting framing and prominent display. Accompanied by a full Letter of Authenticity from autograph expert James Spence.
