Description

Amassed from a large collection of single-signed baseballs comes this treasure. The Baseball Hall of Fame is reserved for only the best of the best in the game and Larry Doby was no exception.  Doby was the first player to go directly to the majors from the Negro leagues. A seven-time All-Star center fielder, Doby and teammate Satchel Paige were the first African-American players to win a World Series championship when the Indians took the crown in 1948.

His legacy will be surly be remembered through pastime stories and mementos he inked for fans. Presented is a OAL (Budig) baseball (shows natural toning) autographed by Doby on the sweet spot in blue ballpoint pen (“9”). He added an inscription for added value, “HOF 1998”.
