Late 1950’s Ted Kluszewski Game-Worn Pirates Cap

Through his impressive career, Ted Kluszewski was known for his bulging muscles and sweet swing. Klu wore this hat during his time with the Pittsburgh Pirates in the late 1950s. Indicating his ownership, there appears a weak but discernable “3” (jersey number) handwritten inside the crown reinforcement area. Inside the hat, the leather sweat band shows mild to moderate use, and the “P” logo is just a very small measure darkened from use and age. Materially, the cap, to include the logo and visor, has maintained its full integrity.
