Late-60s Roger Brown L.A. Rams Game-Worn Durene Jersey w/ 32 Team Repairs and Blood Staining
Out of stock
In 1967, DT Roger Brown replaced Rosie Grier as a member of the Rams’ fabled “Fearsome Foursome.” And in 1968, that cadre set a 14-game NFL record for the fewest yards allowed. The six-time Pro Bowler was oversized for his era and needed every inch of this size 54 jersey to cover his 6′-5″, 300-lb. being. Offered is his huge, and beautiful, Rams heavy durene jersey. It’s characterized with factory-cut short sleeves and complete crotch piece featuring maker “Sandknit” label and size “54” flag tag, with felt swatch stating Brown’s “78” in chainlink stitch. The numerals are in bold royal blue tackle twill with the classic (and extremely collector-pursued) Rams 4-3/4″ sleeve numbers. Solid wear – make that super-solid battle wear – is evidenced by 32 of the most beautiful repairs you will ever see. There is also blood stains on the side of the front “8” numeral. A classic display and representation of golden era NFL football.
