Late ’70s Fred Dryer Game-Worn L. A. Rams Jersey (w/5 Team Repairs)
Out of stock
Most football players are lucky to get one safety during their career. Fred Dryer nailed the opposition in their end zone twice – in one game. While the body of Dryer’s work (13 years and one Pro Bowl) was more than one game, he’s still in the NFL record books. When he was leading the Rams defense in the late ’70s, he did so in this road jersey. Plenty of gridiron battles were waged by Dryer when he donned this mesh garment. Outstanding wear is exhibited on the shirt with at least five major team repairs (shoulder and left sleeve end). All of the identifiers are heat-pressed and display various impact marks. “DRYER” is applied to an elongated nameplate and of a shiny plasticized material. The yellow sleeve ends are accentuated with blue ram horns (knit material). Triangular inserts are built into the underarms. The jersey is custom-hemmed and features a “Wm Fredericks Company” label in the tail. The underside has a half of a Rams exclusivity tag which is glue affixed. Use, style, and substance, this offering has it all.
