Les Paul Signed Guitar

Out of stock

SKU: 16135 Category:

Les Paul is one of music’s most important figures in the development of the electric guitar and innovator in recording studio techniques. His experimentation with guitars in the 1940’s led to the emergence of the first solid-body electric guitar in 1946. He married the singer Mary Ford in 1949, and together they recorded some of the biggest hits of the ’50’s – typified by “How High the Moon”, and “Vaya con Dios.” They divorced in 1963, and he retired from recording. He returned to live work in 1984, appearing with a trio in New York City jazz clubs. Considering his ground-breaking work, Les Paul’s is one of the most important signatures to capture on an electric guitar, and we’re proud to offer such a guitar. Les Paul signed this particular guitar on June 2, 2003 at the Iridium Jazz Club in New York City.
