Lou Rawls Signed AlbumGo Back
Louis Allen Rawls was an American singer, songwriter, actor, voice actor, and record producer. He is best known for his singing ability; Frank Sinatra once said that Rawls had “the classiest singing and silkiest chops in the singing game”. Rawls released more than 60 albums, sold more than 40 million records, and had numerous charting singles, most notably his song “You’ll Never Find Another Love Like Mine”. He worked as a film, television, and voice actor. He was also a three-time Grammy-winner, all for Best Male R&B Vocal Performance.
When You Hear Lou, You’ve Heard It All is a 1977 album by American R&B singer Lou Rawls, released on the Philadelphia International Records label. The album’s lead single “Lady Love”, while only a moderate R&B hit, proved successful in the crossover market, becoming Rawls’ last single to enter the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100. When You Hear Lou, You’ve Heard It All was well-reviewed and sold respectably, peaking at #13 on the R&B albums chart and #41 pop. The title of the album was a play off of a Budweiser commercial at the time, “When you say Budweiser, you’ve said it all”. Budweiser was a really big sponcor of theirs at the time.
This vintage Lou Rawls album is signed really big in blue sharpie and grades a 9-10. Where else can you find a vintage album of his signed like this one, except for in our action.
