Lyle Alzado Broncos Salesman Sample Ring (Jostens)

Out of stock

SKU: 45341 Category:

The Denver Broncos had been a mired in futility from their inception until the 1977 season. Prior to ’77, Denver had finished above .500 only twice since 1960. Things came together in ’77, and the Broncos entered the postseason for the first time. They eventually fell to the Cowboys in the Super Bowl, but oh what a year it was in the Mile High City. This size “12” Jostens salesman’s sample ring honors burly defensive lineman Lyle Alzado. While most remember Alzado with the Raiders, he was an All-Pro first with Denver. Placed in the center, in a round white gold setting, is a 5 mm CZ. A cushion-cut tan colored topaz stone holds the CZ in place. One shank proclaims “ALZADO PRIDE POISE.” The opposite side reads “DEFENSIVE END PERFORMANCE.” “DENVER BRONCOS” is centered around the front. “J 10K” (gold) is engraved on the inside of this offering along with “C-21 95.” Bronco fans stand up and cheer. This was from your team’s first extended postseason run.

The jeweler’s appraisal mentions "J10" which stands for Jostens 10k gold.
