Description

This massive glove and ball display was gifted from a Rawlings sale’s representative to a Georgia card show promoter in the early ’90s. The promoter took it upon himself to have each autograph guest he secured sign the EX heavy cardboard display (47" x 47"). The signatures which were placed on the descending baseball rate "7" while the pennings on the glove rate "9" in most instances. Each player inscribed the date he appeared at the show in his own hand. There is some surface and corner wear.

Those who signed the glove (28) include: Dale Berra, Yogi Berra, Damon Berryhill, Sid Bream, Francisco Cabrera, Jeff Conine, Bob Feller "HOF ’62", Ron Gant, Bob Gibson, George Kell, Roberto Kelly, Mark Lemke, Monte Irvin, Deion Sanders, Mike Schmidt, Red Schoendienst, Enos Slaughter, Tony Tarasco and nine others.

Autographs placed on the ball include (35+): (2) Steve Avery, Rafael Belliard, Jeff Blauser, Eric Davis, Marvin Freeman, Tom Glavine, Tommy Gregg, Mike Hampton, Homer the Brave, Brian Hunter, Catfish Hunter, Chipper Jones, Cleon Jones, Ryan Klesko, Greg Maddux, David Nied, Greg Olson, Terry Pendleton, Gary Sheffield, Lonnie Smith, John Smoltz, Billy Williams, Ned Yost, Anthony Young and a few others.
