Description
Matt Williams was instrumental in the success of the San Francisco Giants during the late ’80s and then later put the D’Backs over the top with his slugging prowess. In 2001, Williams was a key component in Arizona’s fairytale season when they won a World Series title. This particular model 170A Rawlings Adirondack stick (35″ and 33.5 ounces) was used in 1994, when he hit for a career-high 43 home runs. Black ball scuff mark transfers appear on the left barrel and a number of black bat rack marks appear on this fine piece of lumber as well. The bat has a 7″ crack on the barrel, and “33 Williams” has been written in blue ballpoint on the knob.
