Louis who fought in the Mid 1930’s all the way through the 40’s was considered by Ring Magazine the Best Puncher to ever set foot in a boxing ring. What we have here is the Original Joe Louis Proclamation Day Declaration Signed by the Mayor of Flint, Michigan, Donald R Cronin. The Document which was signed in 1955 basically commends Louis on his outstanding achievements and how well he represented not only Detroit but his hometown of Flint, Michigan.
