Mel Brooks became one of the most successful film directors of the 1970s, with many of his films being among the top 10 moneymakers of the year they were released. His best-known films include The Producers (1967), The Twelve Chairs (1970), Blazing Saddles (1974), Young Frankenstein (1974), Silent Movie (1976), High Anxiety (1977), History of the World, Part I (1981), Spaceballs (1987), and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993). A musical adaptation of his first film, The Producers, ran on Broadway from 2001 to 2007.

Presented is an original movie poster from Young Frankenstein (1974). The film was directed by Mel Brooks. The film starred: Gene Wilder, Peter Boyle, Marty Feldman, Madeline Kahn, Teri Garr, Cloris Leachman, Gene Hackman, Kenneth Mars, Richard Haydn, Liam Dunn, and Danny Goldman.

The film was produced by 20th Century Fox in 1974. Poster measures 34.5″ x 49″ – Style B. Comedy. It was autographed by Mel Brooks in blue felt tip (“9-10”). The autograph was obtained by a collector at a L.A. hot spot after a lively conversation with the director. The poster is in folded condition and may exhibit some wear on the edges.
