Mel Brooks Signed Poster Blazing Saddles – COA PSA/DNA

Mel Brooks became one of the most successful film directors of the 1970s, with many of his films being among the top 10 moneymakers of the year they were released. His best-known films include The Producers (1967), The Twelve Chairs (1970), Blazing Saddles (1974), Young Frankenstein (1974), Silent Movie (1976), High Anxiety (1977), History of the World, Part I (1981), Spaceballs (1987), and Robin Hood: Men in Tights (1993). A musical adaptation of his first film, The Producers, ran on Broadway from 2001 to 2007.

Presented is an original movie poster (26.5″ x 38.5″) from Blazing Saddles. The film was directed by Mel Brooks. It starred actors Cleavon Little, Gene Wilder, Slim Pickens, Harvey Korman, David Huddleston, Mel Brooks, Alex Karras, Madeline Kahn, Dom DeLuise, Count Basie, and John Hillerman. The poster was signed in black felt tip (“10”) the upper white contrast portion near the crown of the Native American. The autograph was obtained by a collector at a L.A. hot spot after a lively conversation with the director. The poster is in rolled condition.
