Marsha Stewart is part of the Jackson Family, and was very close to Joe as well as the rest of the family. According to the legal biding contract from the Joe Jackson Estate, Marsha Stewart was Joe Jackson’s niece and Michael Jackson’s cousin. She is also seen throughout the Jackson Family reunion videos as well as standing side by side with the family during the troublesome Court Hearings in LA. Toward the end of his life, she was also the caretaker of Joe Jackson. As fan mail chairwoman, Marsha was also the supervisor of Michael Jackson’s fan mail for years.  There are many documents, t-shirts, articles presented to prove her in this role as Michael’s Fan Mail Chair.

Following Jackson’s performance of “Billie Jean” in Motown 25: Yesterday, Today, Forever, where he debuted his signature moonwalk dance, the sales of the album significantly increased, selling one million copies worldwide per week. The “Thriller” music video was premiered to great anticipation in December 1983 and played regularly on MTV, which also increased the sales of the album. It spent a record 37 weeks at number one on the Billboard 200, from February 26, 1983 to April 14, 1984.

With 32 million copies sold worldwide by the end of 1983, Thriller was the best-selling album of all time. Thriller remains the best-selling album of all time, with sales of 66 million copies worldwide. It is the second-best-selling album in the United States and was certified 33× platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in 2017.

Those within the family and closest to Jackson were allowed access to a unique lifestyle perspective. This access also granted permissible reach into the family’s trove of memorabilia.

Presented is one of Michael Jackson’s personally worn items from Stewart’s collection. They are a designer pair of Givenchy black glitter calf high boots. Of course, they are totally Michael’s style and are [size] 42 and feature coarse black glitter from top-to-bottom. The shimmer is dark black in style. They also have elastic stretch banding on the sides as a flexible function accent and lacing from the heel to the top on the backside. The soles are black leather and overall show mild-to-moderate wear. They are classic Michael Jackson and the closest to his style and performance you can get.
